You need to look up Keynesian and get a better understanding.
According to my Principles of Taxation for Business and Investment Planning 2009 textbook, through the Employment Act of 1946, "both political parties have regarded the federal tax system to further their respcitive economic agendas" (pg 30). The basic principle of the Keynesian schema tax is to use the tax system as a means of effecting fiscal policy. That's EXACTLY what the American government does. The government raises taxes during inflationary periods and reduces it to induce spending. It's opposite theory, however, would be the laissez-faire system proposed by Adam Smith's The Wealth of Nations. It essentially states that taxes should be "neutral". There is absolutely nothing nueutral in the American tax system.

I'm voting for Barr because everything Republicans and Democrats touch turns to $h!t. He won't win because the citizens of this country won't allow a third party to hold any power and neither will our current system.

PS. 'ZIP IT','nighty nighty'? I find it funny you want to ethreaten me to go away. Its sad and pathetic how ppl will try and be ethugs online when they know they are protected by distance of the internet. Very pathetic. I am still here, what are you going to do about it?
Yes as pathetic as you tossing out your insults because you lack the fortitude to have a debate. You don't understand a thing about Keynesian. Can you tell me for whom it is named? Can you tell me when they came to the US and what was said?

I'm thinking you have no answers and you'll just keep showing your ignorance by lobbing insults. Do you lack the knowledge and the fortitude?

I'm voting Nader for the same reason. The corporate power structure does not want someone like Bob Barr or Ralph Nader to even be heard. The corporate power structure, which is who the Reps/Dems represent and what they've become, doesn't want anyone to crash their cozy little grab-bag party. Change? Sorry, brother, I can't spare a dime. I live on "Main Street."

I don't understand? I already gave you some answers, and that was less than few minutes after you post. You want to deny that the current foreign policy is a path towards military Keynesianism or do you even know what that is? You are implying what it MIGHT be under Obama, I am telling you what it IS now under Bush, and it will expand under McBush. You didn't expect my answer did you? You thought you could throw out some definitions and hope I wouldn't know. How about you answer my question, which country? My economics minor may be rusty, but don't take me for a fool.

PS. I am still here not zipping it, now what?

If he had a chance of winning, I'd vote for Nader, too.

Any one of the third-party candidates have just as much of a chance of winning as a Rep or Dem -- if the third parties would just get a voice. But the corporate media won't give them a voice! Why not? It's suspicious to me.

Nader has a video on his site where he points out that mating Pandas at the zoo get more attention on the news than the third parties Ralph Nader for President in 2008 -- Join with us today. Bob Barr has a similar complaint on his site Welcome | Bob Barr for President of the United States (http://www.bobbarr2008.com/splash/?s0820 - broken link).

The elections are becoming ever more critical, people discussing real issues are running, yet they don't even get honorable mention on radio or TV. Something is suspicious about that. Instead we get McObama telling us mostly the same thing, and not much of it holds too much substance. Do we really expect anything to change with either of them?

Big bear you are such a little person! Maybe you should open your eyes and look at all the shortcomings of this nation while it has been GOP lead.

20 of the last 28 years...and they blame it on others the best years in the last 28 years were the ones lead by Clinton .
You would rather have an Old man run your country with a Scary useless VP a hart beat away. Than a youthful energetic duo that surely will bring forth some needed leadership and change! I don't get it... You fear taxes will become much higher, well for your information regardless of who wins the curent GOP leader has stradled us with historic debt that regardless of who is president the next many years we are all fortunate enough to have to repay!
