Ha ha, if what you mean by 'full of himself' is proud, and if you were 47, a Harvard graduate, former law professor, community volunteer, US Senator, happily married with 2 beautiful kids and running for President of the US....wouldn't you be???
How jealous you sound....

That's very subjective. I don't see it. In fact, quite the contrary, he strikes me as very humble, especially when you consider all his accomplishments. In fact, it's quite in contrast to McCain, who tosses his POW experience into a conversation every chance he gets. By the way, has he repudiated his comment about the 'guuks'??

Well, I know a lot of people agree with me that he comes across as arrogant. You are free to see it any way you like.
Please stop posting his crap. It has nothing to do with his race and it is offensive for you to claim someone is RACIST just because they aren't voting for Obama. As I have said many times before, I totally disagree with his political views. I disagreed with socialism long before I knew who Barack Obama was. And when I saw him on Oprah the attitude he had turned me off. It had nothing to do with his race and I didn't decide at that moment who I was voting for (didn't even know he would be the nominee, OBVIOUSLY). I wanted Condi Rice to run for President. So there goes your racist theory.
When you have an opportunity to have a very promising career and make loads of money but choose instead to go back and help people in less fortunate circumstances make a better life for themselves I'd call that humility.
Before Obama became known as a candidate, he spent a day following a home healthcare worker making minimum wage in a poor area of a high crime city in California. He wanted to get behind the truth of how people like this are able, if at all, to support their own children and deal with rising health care, food costs. He wanted to get behind the truth of how the middle class and low income people survive. Do a little research on this man's "arrogance" and rethink YOUR definition of humility.
This article sounds like something Bush would be involved in to help McCain, this is also found in the article:
[Obama insisted that Congress should be involved in negotiations on the status of US troops - and that it was in the interests of both sides not to have an agreement negotiated by the Bush administration in its "state of weakness and political confusion." ]
