You know, you're right. We need a party which combines the original good qualities of both the Republican and Democratic parties as well as others. Both parties really did start out with good intentions.

I'm getting nauseous from some of the posts on here, by people of both parties. I'm hoping that these people aren't as mean-spirited, ignorant, or dangerous in REAL LIFE as they sound on here. I'm ready for a breath of fresh air, myself!

Doesn't anyone remember Abbie Hoffman? That guy was a hero during the sixties. If it were not for the people like him and Ayers, that realized that the Viet Nam War had to be brought here to show the horrors of it, it probably would have gone on for much longer.
his charges were dropped on a technicality, not because he was innocent. clearly you need to do a little more research if you are going to try and make these absurd statements. ayers was the founder of the weather underground who married a fellow weather underground member, bernadette dohrn. she is a convicted felon and the weather underground members’ robbed a brinks truck, in which a guard and two new york state troopers were killed. the weather underground lost several of their members due to their inability to create a bomb that would go off after they were actually done building it, but clearly intended to kill others to send their message. they also bombed the pentagon, etc. mr. ayers is an unrepentant militant who said in 2001:
“I don't regret setting bombs; I feel we didn't do enough,” Ayers told the New York Times in 2001.

a man who will not apologize for killing american citizens has no credibility and frankly should be sitting in a jail cell.

THANK YOU! Anyone who can rationalize bombings in his own country, where innocent people can get hurt, is a terrorist and should be in jail. Expensive lawyers got him off the hook....which does not prove innocence. These people on CD who justify and agree with bombings of our government buildings and anti-American antics are just as bad..... Sickening.

Is it OK to bomb people who have never done anything to us? There was no link between Iraq and Al Queda, why have he blown that country apart? I don't condone domestic or foreign terrorism....ours or anyone else's.

Obama did squander one hundred million dollars that could have been beneficial to the underserved and underscoring chicago school district. Noone wants to talk about that, though.....

I agree. Just to refresh everyone's memory: This is what we have to look forward to if you vote McCain.
(not for the faint of heart - might shock you)

I believe you are being deliberatly obtuse. Noone is suggesting that obama was hanging with the weather underground back in the 1960s. What I believe is being asked is how could someone want to be friends wit/serve on a board with/announce their candidacy at the home of an unrepetant ******* like ayers? Thats it in a nutshell.....

God forbid we fought communism when it's so easy to just give in.

Are you going to stand up for the 150 million that fell to communism/socialism/marxism/facism? It would be hard after standing up for Ayers.
