He's now getting money from people using fake names......the elections are totally fraudulant....he has people illigally registering to vote for him......wow. Nina makes a good point. At some point, when you look at who Obama has associated himself with all these years - Ayers, Wright, Pfleger, Meeks, Rezko, Khalidi, ACORN - there is more than enough evidence that he has run with a crowd of America-haters, anti-semites and racists.
Tell me - has anyone from obama's past, that has known him for 15-25 years, come forward to vouch for him, vouch for his character, his honor, his integrity? Not one.
Oh for godsake, Obama is not responsible for the lives of other people with whom he has associated. As has been pointed out many, many times to you: the association with Ayers took place when they both served on the board of the CAC, along with the President of the University of Illinois and other civic leaders; it was a bipartisan board; it was funded by a Republican. Khalidi himself said that his supposed friendship with Obama was a lie--that he doesn't even know him. And it's the same story for all the other guilt-by-association crap that the neo-cons try to foist on Obama. But: How about McCain attending an ACORN meeting? Or the fact that he's friends with G. Gordon Liddy? What about McCain's "character, his honor, his integrity"? Who's "vouching" for him? Certainly not George Will or David Brooks or William Buckley, or any number of the growing number of respected Republicans who have distanced themselves from the looney-tune takeover of the Republican Party. Hmmmmm?
I guess it makes sense, after all, since the McCain/Palin campaign can't really speak on the issues. All they have in their arsenal is hate and smear. You do know the meaning of "smear," don't you? There's a reason the word exists in connection with political campaigns. It's when one side of the opposition creates a particularly vicious untruth about the opponent and then calls it truth. It's been developed to a fine art under Karl Rove and all the other henchmen who work the McCain/Palin campaign. Yell "FIRE!" loud enough and everyone will run screaming. Who has time to sit down and figure out the truth of the accusation when fear and terror have taken over the mind?
