Take that lv-expanded model. It is fluctuating. It has gone from 8 to 6 to 4 to 7 in just 4 days polling.

The traditional model has stayed basically the same.

And why should Powell endorse anyone prior to today when he was a career government bureaucrat all his life and was ethically bound to refrain from making partisan endorsements?

They sure haven't. But what we are learning is the silent types seem to be closet racists that are considering Obama. Also, don't be surprised if there is a reverse Bradley effect. Even my Dad is voting Obama. When I heard that, I thought the world was going to end!
