If Obama wins, obviously it was the will of God, so not supporting him is going against our Lord and Saviour.

God has plans for this world, but we don't know what they are. The only thing that keeps me sane is I know He's in full control.

Well, lets take that logic for a moment. Murder and rape happens in the world, if we are assume to conclude that because it happens, it is God's will, then are we also to assume that God wants us to support murder and rape? Just because it is part of the plan, doesn't mean it is to be accepted as "good" or "right" in the allowance of its behavior.

In a democratic scenario, the populous does exactly get the government they deserve. I am just nervous what it says about the populous.
When you break it down, mob-rule and gang-rape are microcosms of democracy...

The Dubya Administration shows that TAX POLICY is overemphasized by the ideologues. Bush torpedoed our economy by lack of oversight on Wall Street and by winking at corporate misdeeds. Remember Enron and the California electricity scam? How can anyone legitimately vote GOP this time around? They played Russian Roulette with the ENTIRE ECONOMY and look what happened as the results.

Would you prefer I fake it and lie to God? That's not how things between God and I work. You need to learn to respect people's right to pray or not pray and based on your behavior in this forum over the past weeks, you need to learn the respect FOR others. Only that way, will you earn respect FROM others!

That's all.

I am sorry, I am not saying that you should pray for Obama....I am just wondering what makes you think you have not lied to God before?

I guess I would never be so bold as to make that type of claim. I know I lie to both myself and God at times, whether I mean to or not.

The president will have my respect, not my support. Its hard to support someone who has blanked you as stupid, racist, bigoted, hater, selfish, ....

Simply for being a Republican
