More importantly, is there some kind of test a CANIDATE should have to pass before running for office? Like English or Civics? Or how about a basic How the Government works test?
Perhaps but Id say a basic test on voters would be a great idea. You know like how to read a simple ballot like in FloriDUH and a picture ID would be a fantastic suggestion.

I'm sure you knew I was referring to the brilliant "Who would you rather have a beer with?" tool, which helped many not-so-brilliant millions decide their vote in 2004.
Obama simply pointed out that the required number of signatories needed for someone to run in Illinois hadn't been reached by his opponents. He did not "kick" anyone off the ballot.
Sounds kind of like lunatic righties looking for a birth certificate that was already authenticated to get Obama kicked out.
Well lets see. We have a poll where several of the questions contain "facts" that simply aren't true and asks the person questions based on those "facts". The pollster then claims that folks didn't know the right answers.
DUH!!!!!
What kind of results would a thinking person expect of such a silly poll.
There is an old saying in the computing field "Garbage In, Garbage Out".
This poll is a case in point.
Only an idiot gives any credence to this poll.
While I already knew that Zogby was conservative, this little stunt (and especially the insulting press release which claims it wasn't a push poll), has insured that I will never participate in another Zogby poll, and I will tell every one I know about the day Zogby finally showed his true colors.

Yeah sure, meanwhile you voted for a 72 year old cancer patient and an Alaskan hillbilly who didn't even know the issues herself. Stop complaining, you lost.
It's a crime to vote for someone with or who had cancer? How about a known self admitted cokehead? What if he ODed while at a summit meeting or his judgment was impaired like his drunken fathers?
