Good for him!!! Capitalism at work. Of course the socialists on the left only want their people to sell books. How'd Pelosi's book do? How's Air America doing.

Joe The Plumber Secures Book Deal

God! No wonder the world loves us! Only in America!

I really hope he makes a mint. Maybe the hourly rate for plumbing can be argued in Congress when all the sewer systems go bankrupt because of being full of you know what.

Hopefully I will also learn his secret of how to turn 15 seconds of idle conversation into financial security for myself and my family.
I second that.......I think the dude has definite potential in the GOP....He's a big enough weasel to go from an unlicensed scab plumber to a icon for the neoCONS in just a few months...He may be the next Tom Delay (a ripoff bug spraying boy to a GOP big dog). I just hope all the rightards on here praising him actually go out and support him by buying his book and put their money where their mouth is,but I highly doubt they will.

They used to call that America dream but the dems are trying as fast as they can to destroy that. What's the next course of action or propaganda? The little people shouldn't be able to make it because dems don't approve of them? I guess now there is a card carrying or minimum requirement to being successful in America? Is that the aim of the removal of the secret ballot? Unionize everything so only seniority gets you success?

I thought the American Dream was something about working hard and being smart and moving up in the world, not talking out your rear for 30 seconds in front of a local TV and instantly becoming a symbolic liferaft for the Republican Party as the USS MCCain goes under.

Joe the Plumber is kind of like the lady who ran away from her wedding or the winner of the last Survivor episode. Only in America (and also England) can ordinary buffoons win instant fame and fortune. Not sure if this is such a great thing or not, but it is certainly a quirk of our culture.

You never heard the phrase work smarter not harder. The end game is being well off financially. Will this do that for him who knows but he is better off than before the illegal smear joe campaign. Joe 1 - Jealous Dems 0

Thinking the same thing. How interesting would this book even be?

Relax you are wearing your jealousy on your shoulder. I know I know it's not "really" jealousy it's envy mixed with anger so it's not "really" jealousy.

Working "smarter"? Please explain. The end game is financial success? What an empty world you live in. Trust me, financial success does not in itself lead to happiness.

(Are you related to Joe, you seem almost in love with him from your repeated and passionate postings in his defense.)

Joe is a singularly uninformed citizen. Can he unplug a toilet better than I can? Probably. If he ever writes a book about how to fix my garbage disposal system when it is down hard I may be interested.

The fact people would line up to buy Joe the Plumber's book about his political insights just shows how completely off course the Republican Party has become. Cold hard Desperation is a sad thing to witness. Like watching a train wreck.
