I am not aware of a news station called "Faux News" therefore I can't comment.

No, that advice is too pacifist: just go with the crowd. Actually what needs to change is what we as a society are indoctrinating our young people with, socialist garbage. So the better idea is to bring them around to a more moderate and/or conservative agenda, rather than the marxism they have shoved down their throats from an impressionable age. The fact that so many have been infected is too bad and is deleterious. Hopefully many parents will become more aware of what the government system is pawning off onto their kids and can act accordingly with some kind of conviction...and real concern about what goes into their children's minds.

Mort Kondracke's words will finally make sense to the Republicans sometime after 2016 when the GOP is a remnant group of old Southern white evangelicals. Probably a Libertarian movement will take hold & steer the GOP away from the ignorant & toward a winning argument.

Actually, I've been listening to Rush and Ingraham. Rush is the clown prince of the right at this point. Ingraham ... sigh, I can't believe she and I worked for the same law firm ... but I digress. She's so angry. Rush isn't angry. Ingraham is condescending and I firmly believe that she has thrown her entire legal education out the window. What the heck was Olbermann thinking when he dated her?

And I am shocked she would get near such a loon as Olbermarx!

In particular, I'm of the opinion that the "foaming at the mouth" illegal immigrant haters played a HUGE part in getting Obama elected - and I tried to make that point a few times on the Immigration Board, but the fact is, those folks just don't want to hear that. Unfortunately for them, Hispanics are a rapidly growing group and when illegal immigration bashers all too often morph their hatred from JUST being angry at illegal immigrants into a general attack on Hispanics overall (or even when it's just perceived that way) it more or less guarantees that the Hispanic vote will come down SOLIDLY on the side of the Democrats (DUH!!!!) - and of course when the country is otherwise pretty evenly split, that more or less locks up a Democratic victory.

So, if the Right Wing insists on remaining stupid, they will remain out of power. And personally, as long at they continue hate-mongering, that's goods news for America.

One of the key issues for me was immigration. Obviously if someone is breaking the law they should be punished. A bunch of border-hoping criminals are not exactly the group I would want to advertise as being "on my side".

Sorry, but I cannot bring myself to support a party that comprises Unions, Illegals, the uneducated, and the affluent. Those groups combined are ruining our country as a whole. I think I'll stick to the middle ground.

Nothing wrong with trying to uphold the law, but FAR too many of you folks don't differentiate between illegal Hispanics and LEGAL Hispanic - they simply come off as hating Hispanics in general - using the excuse that legal Hispanics are aiding and abetting illegal Hispanics (while that is true for SOME legal Hispanics, it's certainly NOT true for most).

People on both sides give talk radio way to much credit. Please give me one example of how Rush and co. influenced the electorate this past year.

The tens of thousands of calls that inundated law makers and derailed the Immigration Reform Package.
