There is absolutely nothing wrong with Sarah Palin. She is not a "bimbo", she is not "stupid", an idiot or any of the other things she has been called.

How many of you who have posted your hatred for this woman here have what it takes to become Governor of your state? None, is my guess.

Your hatred stems only from the fact that you hate Republicans, Christians, and Conservatives. Two of these, Christian and Conservative, make up the vast majority (over 60%) of Americans, according to polls.

Christians founded and built this great country, though some of you argue that's a lie; it is not. An honest reading of American History from the time the first settlers came here, to the time of the signing of the Declaration of Independence and beyond, prove this fact. Writings of the founders, and writings of many others of the time also prove that these were devoutly religious people of the Christian Faith.

Your comments about Sarah Palin and her family are offensive and disgusting.

I would respectfully ask the moderators to close and delete this silly and offensive discussion.
I am a registered Democrat though I tend to vote more "Independent", a Christian, and a conservative on some issues. The difference between me and Sarah is that I think for myself. I don't just parrot some party line. When I saw her whip up a crowd with "Drill, Baby, Drill", I was appalled.

Sarah is not an intellectual. You don't have to have a PhD, a law degree, or even a bachelor's to be an intellectual. You just have to be able to think. Sarah was not set up with Katie Couric. For one thing, she refused to be prepped. Not bright! For another, Katie asked very basic questions: "What do you read?". Far from being a trick question, that is a very standard interview question.

Why would you say that? You don't know much about me. I"ve said I vote Independent, am a Christian, you can look at my other posts and come up with some more information.

I do not agree, as stated by Sen. Hruska from Nebraska regarding one of Nixon's Supreme Court nominees, that mediocrity needs to be represented. If that's what you're saying, that Sarah would bring about some mediocrity, no, I wouldn't like that. But I can't figure out what other diversity she would bring to the Senate. There are other women, other Republicans, other journalism majors, high-school basketball players, probably other beauty contestants in the Senate.

But mediocrity IS represented... the two posts in here defending Sarah can only say the same thing - "she's a rising star."

Reminds me of when someone asked Churchill why Prince Edward shouldn't be allowed to marry his "cutie," Wallis Simpson. Churchill said, "Because the English do not wish for a Queen Cutie."

Scratch that. Progressives don't do misogyny.
I dont think anyone cared enough about Sarah to actually hate her, certainly not just because she's female (= misogyny). I think some people saw through her and some people didnt, or wouldnt, and that was divisive.

Yeah and look what that experience did for our current president. Now I get to retire when I'm 346. Woo hoo!

You mean the same Bill Clinton that passed welfare "queen" reforms?

The world isn't always black & white, you know.
