Today's morning news programs include the usual Sunday columnist\ presidential speech writers. The positive regard for President-Elect Obama is being strongly articulated by Republican writers. Peggy Noonan appears to be in love with Obama & can barely repress outright adulation. Same can be said for Pat Buchanan & his sister, Babe, David Brooks, David Gergen, George Will, etc. These conservative writers are as excited about Obama as Democrats [and some can argue that these conservatives are in-fact Democrats, now]. The praise is quite remarkable & unprecedented.

BTW, the scorn for President Bush is also noteworthy. Noonan even stated that our nation hasn't had a president for a long as Bush has been in power & Buchanan calls Bush the worst modern day American president.

These people are not real Republicans (or at least not REAL conservatives). They're New World Order clones. One coin of Democrats and Republicans (just different sides).

Are you kidding?

These people have been the standard bearers for the republican party since Donald was an itty-bitty duck, and you know it.

It's like I have said here before. I have posted on message boards for the last seven years, and the die-hard Bush supporters now say they never liked him and didn't vote for him. Apparently Bush elected himself twice. Either that or they are lying through their teeth.

I wish you conservatives would go ahead and nominate and run a "real" conservative. I'd love to see what one looks like. But I don't think you have enough people who think like you to do it, just like the far left.

These are Reagan republicans. Are Reagan republicans now not real republicans?

These people are real Republicans, but their party left them when it embraced the far right. They have no party now, and Obama is closer to the real Republican agenda than many who the far right elected. I won't name names. (Rhymes with rush. Synonym for shrub. And many others.)

This is a temporary change over since Bush did show some non conservative sides to us. Bush abandoned real conservatives and this is why you are seeing this type of thing. If the right were to run a good conservative candidate and not a neo con you can bet they would be back to the right again

No they did not leave when they embraced the far right. The fact that Bush and Cheney are essentially socialists is the big reason

I wish real conservatives would "nominate and run a "real" conservative, too. And there are MANY conservatives who feel the same way. People may be "standard bearers" for ANYTHING but it doesn't mean they're genuine. You will know them by their fruits (their actions).

Stop right there because you nailed it. The majority of our representative government these days are in fact simple drones going about the task of ringing in the future. Namely, the Global Community. Sure, it sounds groovy. Gives off vibes of togetherness and sharing, a world without war or famine. But that just isn't the agenda. These people have one simple goal: to control the world through a world economy and world justice system. Tie us all together then bring the hammer down on resistance to the new order. Want to eat, do what we say. Want to live, do what we say. Like I said, sounds crazy. But it isn't.

Well, I understand what they're doing. The government is going all Dem. Let's face it -- Pelosi and Reid are revolting and lost causes. Pelosi has been mouthing off and trying to subjugate Obama. I'm GLAD the Republicans are getting behind Obama. Pelosi and Reid need to be marginalized for anything to get better and working with Obama is the way to do it. Obama's biggest threats seem to come from his own party.
