Means nothing? For Obama supporters that means everything. He is trusted by a 2/1 margin over Republicans. That may be nothing to you but for those of us drinking the Kool Aid it is the magic elixir.

What you fail to realize is that 67% will vote for whatever Obama does... they are his fans... its like asking a Paris Hilton fan if they think Paris Hilton is doing the right thing by buying Prada... Subtract Obama from the question and you will get different responses... polls suck btw... but on a personal level, I think its going great... the stimulus has been chopped down to size and is appropriately done... albeit, I rather it wouldn't be done at all... I think Obama is doing a fine job so far but I am still skeptical and will wait before passing judgment... its way too early for that...

Obama controls the media. He appoints their CEO's to his cabinet and other positions. So of course he can get the polls to say what he wants.....Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.

If what you say is true then you better pay attention as it appears he now controls America and that is good to a majority of people.

Not suprising. So why did Obama squander his high approval ratings and the Democrats good approval ratings in regards to the stimulus bill by compromising with these unpopular, radical GOP Senators????

They're irresponsible. The American public knows the GOP is irresponsible.....Why deal with them?

Poll finds Obama more popular than his stimulus package - CNN.com
Seventy-six percent of those questioned in a CNN/Opinion Research Corp. survey released Monday gave Obama a thumbs-up on how he's performing his duties, while 23 percent disapproved.

A slight majority, 54 percent, favors the bill; 45 percent are opposed.

Three out of four poll respondents said that Obama is doing enough to cooperate with Republicans in Congress, but only 39 percent feel that congressional Republicans are cooperating enough with the president.

Six out of 10 approved of the way Democratic leaders in Congress are handling their jobs. But only 44 percent of those questioned approved of the way Republican leaders in Congress are performing.

This CNN poll was just released today and is comparable to the Gallup Poll of today. Obama may have played it just right and other then their base the Republicans may not have played it as well as their bloggers think. Time will tell but the most recent data should make you feel better my friend.
