Yes I think it is a demographic change partly due to our proximity to NY, a lot of New Yorkers have been chased out because of the high cost of living and they are moving to New Jersey. The Republican Party in NJ is pretty weak also. We suffer from the same problem the national GOP does a lack of credible candidates. Christie is the strongest candidate we have had in a while but I think Corzine's money with the democrat voting pattern will cause him to lose.

Sad but true..we have no one to blame but ourselves for continually voting jack azzes into office and keeping them there
To quote another poster on the Jersey Forum 'If that bearded clown in the sweater vest is voted in again those that voted him in are dim bulbs"

Hopefully things change in 2009. Don't you think Christie can win? He seems like a great candidate!

Is Tony Suprano running for office? He seemed to be a decent organizer.

You realize that, when Democrats who vote in leftist politicians in state A and leave state A for state B (b/c of high living costs in state A), they vote in leftist politicians in state B (and then ruin that state as well). Look at how Virginia, NC, FL and other states are turning more blue (and tax heavy).

Something in the water I imagine (actually there is...drugs, hormones, birth control...). I just wish all the dumb people from NJ would stay out of VT (I don't mind taking the smart ones fleeing the rat hole).

Doing the job is irrelevant. Being a Dem is the only qualification.

Roll over, Rover. Fetch a tax increase. Good boy!

I do realize that. That is why I said the changing demographics of NYers moving to NJ accounts for at least some of the reason NJ went from a purple state to a solid blue state.
