it is possible that corzine's incredibly poor performance and his goldman sachs connections could hurt his chances for reelection in new jersey. the fact that new jersey has the highest property taxes in the country certainly isn't helping him.....

Christie is no better, the man is just as crooked and shady as the Governor. NJ is doomed either way we go with these two candidates.

As good as can be expected, considering the financial and economic situation he inherited and which has continued to decline.......

Corzine is an idiot. He only ran for governor so he could get his stupid behind into the white house. Which failed. Miserably.

He's done NOTHING for this state. Left over crap or not..he's done NOTHING.

I'm a registered democrat and sadly I have to say he has done some good, but for the most part, the MAJOR items that he campaigned on are worst than they were before because nothing was done to fix them.

Car Insurance - Higher
Although we do now have geico and progressive insurance in NJ

Property Tax - Higher
sales tax were increased from 6% to 7% to help with the high property taxes. Well those of use living in Essex, Passaic and Bergen County know thats a farce

College Tuition - Higher
College tuition costs have increased by 20%

Tolls
I believe they've gone up at least twice since Corozine has been in office

Education
Schools are still FAILING, primarily because there are not enough teachers to a class, the budget has been cut in the urban area's I believe more than under any other administration.

I'm not sold on Christie at all. He has not shown me in any way that he will NOT turn into a big boy version of George Bush on the state level. He is too much involved in looking out for friends and associates. I'm also suspect on his ability to not only looking out for the rich counties and completely ignore the urban areas

There is nothing Christie will do to improve on the five bolded areas you indicate.

With that said, why go from bad to worst, might as well stay with the bad that we already know? Even that is a frighful thought
