Worse president yet? (health care, Congress, Baby Boomers, Reagan)
Worse, or worst yet? Don't see any choices other than our current President. Could this be another bash president Obama thread? Looks like it to me.

I don't see Nixon, or Bush 43. Why?
More right wing bias.

I've always thought that if a person is going to begin a thread, they could at least use correct english/spelling.
Did a 4th. grader begin this thread?
So, is it worse, worst, or, worser? duh?
Just goes to show ya, how educated the right wing people really are. And, they allow you folks to vote? When you can't even read or write?

I think people need to realize that Reagan had a very similar situation his first couple years. He inherited a very different set of problems, but there are a lot of parallels. Did you know Reagan's poll numbers dropped from about 70% to below 40% in his first year? Unemployment peaked over 2 years into Reagan's presidency.

Just give Obama time. Things will turn around. I think he's doing great. We have an incredible foreign policy rooted in diplomacy and collaboration, going to have a better health care system, he's kept our industrial base from collapsing, he's reregulated and stabilized the financial markets after 30 years of de-regulation.

He's doing precisely what needs to be done, as painful as it may be at the moment to watch. Good to have a president with a backbone enough to make the tough decisions.

What distress did you experience?

Does it bother you "What Europeans think"? Europeans are more selfish than you think. It is not our responsibility to do what's good for them.

Maybe Poland and the Czech Republic ..... but your ignorant President put a finger in their as*ses.

By far -- Barack is the worst and dumbest President ever.

His School Safety czar is a fan of NAMBLA. Look it up.

If you care about America, you should realize that Socialism is not the right road. If you even consider a Socialist society, you are too far gone to be taught the lessons of freedom.

Whitewashed idiots is how we see you.
I think you've been deceived by the media you consume. To call Obama a socialist is a flat-out insult to socialists everywhere.

Temporarily propping up industries until markets stabilize is a FAR cry from government controlling industries permanently.

Give yourself a chance to see the bigger picture. I think you'll find Obama's actually saving market-based economies with his actions.

Yooperkat,
Seriously! In prior posts I've always wondered if you were just a parody of a right-wing extremist posting what you post just for the way people react to you. I still think that's true, but if not, resulting to name calling isn't going to help your agenda at all.

I'm a fiscally conservative moderate. In my personal life I am forced to debate against my friends who range from true socialist, to liberals, to religious republicans (who think mankind frolicked with dinosaurs) to hard-core right wing republicans. while I do not agree with their positions, I can always respect them, and often times like them, without resulting to name calling. Not everybody who disagrees with you is your enemy, and you can often learn more from an opponent than you could from an ally.

When I am debating fellow Americans whose views oppose mine, I don't see "white washed idiots", I see people just like me. Facing the same problems, harboring the same fears, all honest people just trying to make it in the world but who hold different views.

And Thank God and the Founding Fathers that I live in such a country where we can enjoy, and in a country that indeed encourages, this debate. I just ask that we all respect each other. We are all Americans, let's show each other some respect.

These conservatives actually want Obama to fail. Christ even if I didn't like Bush I was still hoping his policies would work because it would be for the good of the nation. People like Fleet, sanrene, Sunny Days and positiveone go from 6 to 12 just thinking about our economy crumbling.

It's the moroons who believe barack that will have to pony-up their kids piggy-bank and pay for all his 'bail-outs'.

Let us know how that works out for you, Sport.

I can't believe the harshest critics of Obama can't even spell "worst" and "moron". They don't know to capitalize a proper name and don't know when you use an apostrophe.

Really makes one wonder how much they could know about economic systems and international relations to have an informed opinion.
