Operative word, "yet". How is he planning on paying his astronomical debt that he created without raising taxes? By implementing new "fees" (another word in his vocabulary for taxes) and trumpeting how he did not raise taxes? Just another of his lies.

Wake up.

Easy pal. I'm awake. I'm aware that some form of tax increase is likely. I'm just saying that we should probably hold off on slinging around the "L" word before policy matches accusation.

But don't let me stop you from engaging in a little preemptive fire and brimstone.

Hey pal, we can indeed sling the "L" word based on his past actions and statements. He shows no indication of changing his ways, so why not call a liar a liar? Still clinging to that hope and change?

I say judge the man based on what he has done. There should be plenty there for you to criticize. As for this? He may have lied. However, I prefer to wait until his actions match that suspicion before I decide on my own that this was, in fact, a lie.

To be honest, I suspect that taxes WILL have to go up across the board, and that this WILL end up being a promise broken, but I like to allow reality to be the decider, as we've all had more than our share of partisan rhetoric from both sides.

So you choose to ignore the lies already perpetrated and the attempts to drive the country from the path its citizens desire in favor of Ibowmas path?

When he meets the requirements that you put forth, it will be to late to do anything about them. You ever hear of preventive maintenance?

I'm a little tired of the sarcasm on this board, and I'm done adding to it.

Of course I've heard of preventive maintenance. I've also heard of letting a man do the job he was hired to do. Obama was elected decisively and probably should have been LESS conciliatory this entire time. I think he's been TOO eager to compromise with those on the other side of the aisle and has gotten nothing but grief for it.

It's to a point where I would rather see him start REALLY pushing leftist policy so at least his actions match the accusations levied against him.

I think what we have is a state not of "preventive maintenance", but of preemptive blame and panic. Things are rough, but they've been rough since before Obama rolled into town, and these things take time to turn around (moreso when every policy choice is blocked by both naysayers from the other party and a bunch of waffling wimps in your own party).

I'm ready to see more action and judge accordingly.

First, the sarcasm you see is in your own mind. Nothing can be done about that.

As for the rest of your post, it certainly explains your true agenda. Follow Ibowma right over that cliff singing his rally songs all the way.
