True, I was just pointing out its not like we are talking about someone who has never shown an ability to win statewide.

Anyway I think he does slightly better with those in the middle than Lincoln. He might be further left, but will do better simply because Lincoln has pissed everyone off. He also certainly does better with the base than Lincoln would. I don't think either of them have much of a chance, but Halter has a better chance.

I'm also taking into consideration the House races. The Dems are defending two open seats. AR-1, it looks like they should hold as the GOP really is not seriously contesting the seat. AR-2 is another matter, and probably leans GOP at this point. In order to have a legit chance at holding the seat the base needs to turn out. That might be enough, but its the only chance. Lincoln topping the ticket is going to hurt base turnout, especially with Bebe having a cakewalk.
