My boyfriend and I are looking for a place to live in Eugene or Springfield, OR. We are open to apartments, townhomes, or duplexes. If possible, we would like to stay away from the bad areas, but close enough to the U of O bus line, as I will be attending grad school there. The price range we are looking at is from 500-800. Any suggestions greatly appreciated!

Found this one: Great Campus Location

But you'll want to jump on it quickly. It was added yesterday and I bet that it's going to go fast since it's so close to the college.

Eugene has decent bus service to the university, and as long as you stay on the flat you can comfortably commute by bicycle. Students ride the bus for free.

With that budget, you'll have plenty of nice choices for one bedroom apartments and maybe some two bedrooms also.

Try craigslist (eugene apts/housing for rent classifieds - craigslist), padmapper (Eugene Apartments for Rent - PadMapper Map-Based Apartment Search), and hotpads (Eugene, OR Real Estate, Apartments & Houses for Rent - HotPads). They have a lot of overlap between them, but sometimes a nice place will pop up only on one of them.

Welcome to Eugene!
