Well as long as she is not asking for political asylum in Putin's Russia...

Those things are hard to change on wikipedia. I've tried it before, only to see it revert right back to the other again.

Default I applaud the move

I always liked Tina Turner. I've admired her as a woman, an entertainer, and a human being. So I'm very intrigued by this latest move. She says that she can't imagine a better place to live. Makes me curious about the place, maybe as a future destination to visit. Good for her.

Does she have to forfeit her Social Security benefits, or does that transfer to traitors?

How does changing citizenship make someone a tratior. If you live away from your country long enough you my feel more connected to your new home and want to take part in politics there.

So Arnold Schwarzeneger is a tratior as he became american?

My dad changed his from italian to american so I guess he was a traitor too.

I am considering changing mine, not because I have anything against the USA, I do not need to change it to live in Germany as I have permenent residence but would like to have the option to perhaps live in other EU nations when my daughter is grown up.

Wasn't Nina Simone a Swiss citizen as well or only a resident?
