Every Swiss city, Zurich for example:

Close to Italy, close to the south of France and not too far away from eastern europe. It's also safe in case of a...giant tsunami or rise of sea levels.

Munich, Milan, Innsbruck, Zurich and Bern. The Alps and the area just around are bang down n the middle of Western Europe. If close to the city there's a low cost airport like Bergamo's, that's even better as you can take cheap flights to the whole of Europe. For example, there's a flight from there to Bucharest at only €19 for the whole of November
