I can tell you that Spain has better infrastructures than Italy and at least as good as France's , Britain or even Germany!

Spain has a high quality of life with modern freeways, high speed trains, advanced health care system, low crime, beautiful architecture, and excellent wine and food. Their pay scale is lower than some northern Euro countries and I believe they also work more hours. Their economy was the fastest growing of the major Euro counties last year and predicted to be the fastest again this year.

I'll be in Marbella for most of the next 2 months...beautiful place. In my opinion, Spain is by far the nicest country in Europe.

On a side note, what is with Europeans freaking out over discussions of your countries? Our country gets discussed all the time and criticized by Europeans but if we do the same, ya'll freak out.

Traveler, trust me, by now all of 1,958,697 members of the forum (Including the inactive ones) know that you were going to travel to Spain for the next 2 months. Because you keep saying it.

And Arigarisha, trust me that someone on CD will ask me while I'm in Spain if I've ever been to Spain.

Odd, that. The 5th time you announced "I'm going to Marbella" we all got an automated e-mail:

"Did you know Tall Traveler is going to Spain? Yes, it's true!"

Maybe it landed in their Spam folder.

Washington State! Lucky guy, I'd love to live in Seattle, apart from the weather that seems to be a fantastic place.
