I suppose it depends on what side the refugees are on. Those who support the Ukrainian government move someplace else in Ukraine or to a nation they consider anti-Russian. Those who oppose the Ukrainian government move into Russia.
That is of no use for people like me who can't speak Russian or Ukrainian.
You don't need to know too much of a language there.

No, does not matter at all, they go where economics takes them. Despite the media hype, only very few are fanatical about siding with anyone, most are just after a job somewhere, anywhere, the more money, the better.
I have a met a few ukrainian refugees, young and old. Although I must admit the one I know the most has a student visa so that's a different situation.
