What are the current crime statistics for Poland? Any websites that show how the crime levels have changed through the decades? I am particularly interested in comparing the 1970's to the present.

Any info would be appreciated. Thank you.

Your best bet would be the early/mid 1990s compared to the present. I imagine it would be quite difficult if not impossible to find such information from the Communist era and even if you did it would probably be fudged big time to present an illusion of the perfect and crime free "worker's paradise".

Your best bet would be to contact the Polish National Police, if you look on the left hand menu you will see that there is an English language version: Policja - Komenda Główna Policji
