For those of you that use them, What is your favorite flavour of protein shake? They come in alot more flavours these days, than they used to.

Just a simple fun thread. For me, wild strawberry.

Different brands have different tastes.

Optimal Nutrition has the best tasting protein.

Rocky Road and Double Rich Chocolate are my favs.

the protein powder i liked most was root beer float muscle milk. i dont think its available any more. generally, their protein powders are delicious. i had the banana cream most recently and i liked it a lot. i also liked their blueberries and cream.

now my protein is unflavored, so its kind of like bland milk.

I always stick with Vanilla - I've tried a few other flavors and they always had a chemical taste to me....

I think you guys should list the BRAND of protien. O.N.'s chocolate tastes great. GNC's chocolate tastes awful. Muscle-Tech's chocolate taste super horrible (but is the best).

Not all flavors are equal.

Neither are all brands equal. I, for one, think that GNC's chocolate tastes great, but not better than O.N. I like BSN Lean Dessert Whipped Vanilla the best, but I feel that it is too expensive for the size. At the end of the day, it's all opinion.

What lao said; without brand the "flavor" is useless for knowing what protein is meant.

Though I more consider it a "light gainer" I'd vote for BSNs: "syntha-6 strawberry milkshake"
if we're talking pure protein I'll say optimum nutritions "whey gold stantdard extreme milk chocolate"

When do you guys use it and why? I typically will have a low cal Gatorade and Clif bar after a strenous ride. Sometimes skim milk with choco syrup.
