In the under 198 pound weight class no woman has ever managed to get out of the mid-400 range. You must know the strongest female power lifters in the world.
You obviously weren't reading the link you sent me. Every record for women above 148 lbs was above 400, and the strongest women in the heavy classes were above 650. I know three women 180 plus who I have personally spotted who have done 400. And I have seen others even smaller do it. Even the 132s in this link did 392 and 396.

You obviously can't read judging by your response. Either that or you don't know what "under 198 pounds" or "mid-400 range" means.
I stopped reading your post after this nonsensical part. I reject you, and everything else you will ever post for as long as you are a member here on CD after this. Fat. LMAO. Okay, sure. LMAO!!!
Yeah, no wonder so many heavy set women online think they're muscular. People all too often confuse a bad mixture of fat and muscle with actually being muscular. And I don't really care if you ignore me or not. Bye
Muscular legs and lean legs are not mutually exclusive. One can have muscular but lean legs. Muscular does not mean thick, heavy or broad.
But that depends on your build!
I think people are forgetting about the natural body type part of the equation.
Endomorphs who are naturally slim can get away with lifting really heavy and only getting more toned/defined as a result, without adding bulk. These are the women that look fantastic as fitness models etc. Without lifting, they would still have great slim bodies.
Endomorphs, who are more stocky and put on both muscle and fat easier, have a harder time; I think they are the ones who would end up getting bigger and bulkier from heavy weights. If a woman has a not very proportional body, such as heavier hips or wider shoulders and back, then these are the areas that are more likely to get bigger and look heavier - even if they're not doing any crazy bulking regimes.
For men, it's the other way around - there are the slim guys who have a lot of trouble putting on muscle, and the naturally bulkier ones who do it easier.
Because of that, I don't understand how fitness advice on these forums can be identical for everyone (squat, lift heavy, etc). I think I already wrote this here somewhere, but look at Anna Kournikova versus Serena Williams - both do the same sport, have probably similar (at least not drastically different) training and exercise regimes, yet they look dramatically different.
I've seen naturally petite slim girls who lift and look fantastic and toned; but I've also seen pear shapes, like myself, that look like little torsos on those squat wide drumstick legs. Yes, they're defined and strong and all that but to me that just doesn't look good aesthetically. I feel the same would happen to me - I've started squats several times, and every time my legs just seem to blow up immediately - I know it's not muscle growth, but maybe it's water or swelling, I don't know, but I do know they visibly look bigger right away, but with no added definition. I do have a layer of fat on top, but I don't know how to get rid of it as I'm already borderline underweight and extremely skinny in my upper body, all my ribs poke through (plus afaik women need at least some fat on their hips to maintain fertility).
Evil Cookie, do you have a physique like this woman: Mal Malloy ?
what are your measurements? Women that have a build similar to what you describe are usually sought after by most men.
heh, wow, not quite - I'm much much smaller, however I guess the general body type might be similar but I'm a lot smaller on top - an A cup; if I gained a bunch of weight, my bottom half would probably look like that.
My legs look a bit similar to Beyonce's or Rihanna's - 'ghetto booty' and thick legs, but on top I'm very thin, it's like two different people.
This softness/roundness of the thighs, especially by the knees, is what really irritates me; and squats/lunges only seem to make it worse
