I disagree. All my gym friends and I have been there coming on 14 months, maybe longer. We reopened 3 months after closing for covid. None of us have gotten covid and we all do not wear masks, high five, hug, fist bump. I’m not saying you can’t wear a mask, do what you feel is best. You’ve pretty much called most people and myself that posted here an idiot.
Depending on how you work out, some things can’t be done as you suggest. Some need the gym and equipment.

Total bs. Most everyone I know is vaccinated. One friend and his girlfriend are anti vaccination. They are also people that stay home and avoid public places. Both got covid. One had to go on a respirator and probably should have died, but got lucky. She still has remnants of the covid.

Well, that means that almost everyone in my gym including me are idiots. So be it. It's a personal decision. Do what you want to do.
It totally depends upon you and your comfort level. I have been wearing mask not only gym but also everywhere I go. People around me gives judging eyes, as many people stop using mask. However, I really don't care what other thinks, plus I am comfortable wearing mask in public places. Not just because of pandemic but mask help to maintain hygiene and protect me from unwanted odor and other possible bacteria which can effect my health. So, yep! It is totally up to you if you it or not.

I don’t care if people wear masks. If anything it probably protects me too. Though I do think it’s funny to see someone driving solo with a mask on.

I’ve not been worried about Covid in my gym. Equinox has done a fabulous job wiping down equipment on a frequent basis throughout the day since they reopened. If I didn’t catch Covid on a crowded NYC subway going to a Rangers hockey game and a Yankee game I will take my chances on a more spread out and much cleaner gym.
If one is afraid to workout at a gym shall I assume they are as or more concerned with flying and going through airports?
