They are either taking steroids or devote most of their time to lifting. It is so incredibly hard for a woman to get and keep muscles and extremely hard for them to become 'ripped'.

My mother always discouraged me from lifting anything heavy because of potential pelvic issues, I guess that's how she was taught. But I suppose we are talking about heavy weights like 50 pds ++ which I do not expect to lift. I was doing some research and I've read about women lifting weights for years, more like bodybuilders and suffered pelvic prolapse and STILL continued their weightlifting!! I certainly don't intend to go through that! I just want to start light and gradually lift a little more to where I get a slightly built physique and maintain the feminine look I want. And being that I still want to avoid this covid poison, I can't go to the gym just yet for a few training sessions for guidance.
Women have been lifting heavy things throughout all of history-- their children, to do chores, etc. I find it hard to believe that it's so very terrible for us.

Not to mention-- who decided it was "unfeminine" or unattractive for women to be strong? And why? Bears some thought.
