What is "eating well"? What does that involve....mostly salad? Sanwiches? Low fat yogurt? Fat free cookies?
I mentioned Dukan because it is going to hit the States in the next 6 weeks & will invariably be dismissed. 5 million people in France have read it, 1.5 million follow it.... apparently it is imporyant in France to be thin, whereas in America you hear a lot about "healthy". Imo thin, slender, whatever you would call or, is healthy.

I can think of some women I know who are thin and beautiful (my coworker, a very petite, fine-boned Korean gymnast, comes to mind), but as it turns out, most are only average-looking. Thin doesn't = beautiful. One an be thin and plain looking, thin and average, thin and homely, just as easily. Same as anything else.

Re: "eating well," my personal definition, a la Michael Pollan: "Eat food. Not too much. Mostly plants." Pretty much sums it up, for me.

I find skinny women a bit ugly... or at least the ones that look anorexic ( however you spell it ). I like some junk in the trunk if you know what I mean lol

I especially don't like the women who throw up to get skinny....odd.

Thin is beautiful with muscle tone. If it is simply a result of not eating, then not so much.

A skinny girl who puts on 5-10 pounds of muscle is hawt.

When Thin = slender, it's good. When Thin = skinny, it's not good.

You shouldn't be able to count the ribs or see the vertabrae on the spine. Knobby knees and sharp hip bones needs a little more flesh.

I think this video really closes the case on thin/fit being really beautiful. Take a look at all the women (even the men) in this vid. They are all "thin" but are in shape (i.e., they are FIT). Compare these women to women are are not thin/fit (i.e., obese, fluffy, overweight, high BMI, etc.) and YES, anyone and anytime will say and agree that THIN IS REALLY BEAUTIFUL WHEN COMPARED TO THE NOT-THIN.

I don't like thin at all. I really don't know why people think skinney pencil legs and arms are attractive. I love my wife's arms. Shapely and muscular. They are arms that look like they could do some serious work. And they do!!!

That video was enough to motivate me to ramp it up on my weight training days. Seriously, I think thin is beautiful and buff (thick) is beautiful as long as the individual is healthy and fit.
