I guess the next question is how do you measure curves? Most people here seem happy with WHR, in which case #1 is indeed curvy.

Also, a twig implies skinny and straight up and down, a rectangular body type. I don't think any of those women are rectangular.

WHR. I guess you could argue BHR for Apple shaped women... I can only thing of one Apple-shaped women I would call curvy. And that's because she did have pretty pronounced hips. It's just that her BHR (mostly her skeletal structure, she wasn't abnormally well endowed) eclipsed her hips. Basically, reverse #4 and you had her figure.

And of course, having wider hips than waist does not equal having cellulite.

I agree although I tend to not gain weight on my midsection. I think curvy is really your bone structure...so at your thinnest you will be the curviest. At my thinnest I was 36B-24-36...and 125 at 5'8"...sure I was thin...but definitely had a booty. I remember hating my body in highschool...wishing I had more of the straight up and down figures, a more girlish figure. Buying pants was always a challenge as they never fit becase I had to buy them to fit my butt... I wore a lot of skirts! I think you have choices now with pants. I usually can find something that will fit.

??????? I am sorry, but I don't think you know measurements very well. I honestly do not think there would be many women who could have a 30" waist and 34" hips.

And also, 38" and 30" for the first two are measurements that not necessarily show a FAT woman esp if she is tall! Maybe a tad of pad, but that is all. SHeeesh....

I really think most of the men on this site, have in their minds BARBIE DOLL measurements as being normal for a woman when they don't even take into consideration height or bone structure.

He doesn't really want me to do anything, as he's perfectly happy with how I look... he just jokes about it sometimes, how I'm skinnier than what he usually dates. I'm not gaining weight for anyone, so he's know it'll never happen.

I think that measurement is possible. My mom has more of a male frame (straight up and down) with little difference between her hips and waist. Women come in all shapes and sizes.

Im not sure I understand exactly what curvy means. People here are saying Christina Hendricks is fat??? I think she is the perfect example of why i understand as "curvy":

If this isnt curvy then what is??? seriously.

And i mean curvy as a good thing, of course, this girls is hot and femenine and the kind of woman man throw themselves at.

imo, of course
