Think "Tony Soprano." If that's the look you like, go for it. To me, it's tacky.

I actually don't mind the look, I think a little gold is nice. I see quite a few older guys wear these thick, gold bracelets along with a gold watch or something and I always thought it looked pretty good.

Might as well try it, doesn't hurt.

To the OP, a gold figaro bracelet like you posted would be nice with a suit. I know many businessmen who wear one. If you want to wear a gold chain, do so but wear it underneath, tucked in.

I only wear my gold chains and bracelets with T shirts or a blazer over the T.

I guess I'm new to this...what's the difference between a gold figaro bracelet and a gold chain?

And thank you.

Strong policy in our family. The women wear the jewelry, the men wear the pants.

BTW, Corvette salespeople hand out gold chains as a thank you gift after purchase.

Strange...I bought a Corvette a few weeks ago and never received a gold chain. I should really write the dealership and demand one...

I don't think wearing a SMALL piece of jewelry is unmasculine, obviously if you're "blinged out" then I may question the motives. My watch is an accessory to an extent, if it was simply for telling time, I wouldn't have a half dozen for different outfits.

This is the porn industry CEO look.

No, thank you.

The crocodile has a silver bangle-like eastern ornament. It's called kaap in my mother tongue. I wear it only a few times, and even that has some meaning to it, though I made it a little fashionable.

I think it looks awful, personally. The bracelet is more offensive than the necklace, but neither are good.

IMO, the *only* jewelry a man should wear is: a) watch, b) wedding ring, c) class ring or similar on opposite ring finger. Anything more than that is too much.

You asked....

I asked and I don't mind hearing both sides. Obviously some don't like it, others have stated they think it looks fine.

I'm curious as to why you'd consider it "offensive" though? Just a strange choice of words, why would anyone be "offended" by a gold bracelet on a guy?
