That's crazy! I found 30 dollar jeans taht were originally 180, that didn't need any alterations! ..when I can find deals like that, you can't pay me to spend that much on jeans!

To each his own. If you want to pay this sort of prices for clothes made in China, enjoy. I don't care about your "research"; I care about the empirical evidence I come across every day. Just about anything made there is inferior.

I can imagine your reasons... That's where your money comes from, which you then use for buying quality items.

That is where people donate the clothes regardless of rich and poor. They are nice and not so nice, just depends.

I am totaly agree with you on that. I don't shop in Buckle anymore. Their clothes not only expensive but very bad quality, particular shoe. You can get better quality for a lot less at Macy's if you know what day to shop. I used to work at Macy's before and I couldn't believe what a steal we used to sell. Ralph Lauren silk blouse for $30 original price $165, Calvin Klein goose winter jacket with cool desin $90 off original price of $360 and much more.

As a side note, most of their clothes aren't even made in china. Suits are made in Italy or other EU countries, pants in canada or S america, and sweaters in EU also.

That's probably why the clothes are so expensive.

Yeah, fair.... Admittedly a lot of my jeans that are 3+ have some rips and tears in them. I usually only buy Nudie, G-Star (not the ridiculous ones) or Jack Jones (Random European brand).

Good post. I like the mall type of stores that show 'buy one get one for a dollar'...but the original item costs double the price anyway...example: bras for 35 bucks. Buy one, get another for a dollar..youre still paying about 17 bucks each, whereas I only pay about 10 bucks at Walmart for one, no bargain there. Just my 2c.
Good peeve.
