You're absolutely right.

OK, whoever just won the U.S. Open --- that must have been Serena. I would call her full-figured, large-busted, large hips and booty, muscular and fit. But full-figured.

I'd never heard of the 'banana' description for a woman's body. That's how I came across that site, by searching for what a 'banana' shaped body is supposed to be.

(And I do realize that these categorizations are all just that, just approximate descriptors, and that every woman has a unique individual figure.)
Curvy =/= size. You can be slim and curvy. Slim and not curvy. And bigger and curvy. Or bigger and not curvy.

I am disappointed the term gets used interchangeably for larger. Sticking with fashion here, a woman who is a size 18 hourglass has wildly different clothing challenges than a size 18 apple. Or banana. Or pear. It is way more helpful to look at the general body types, and looks at the rules of proportion based on your proportions, instead of assuming people of a similar size have similar proportions.

Here are couple of people with the average american height/weight approximately. Notice how these women look wildly different at the same approximate weight and height:

Actually, Roseanne Barr is a fatHEAD. And I never call people "fat" unless I know that they're okay with it.

A little sensitivity goes a long way. In my case, for example, I'm always uncomfortable when women refer to me as a Greek God, The Magnificent Seven, or Hunkalicious...

It is really cool to see women of different shapes and sizes. People have a preconceived notion about what weight X looks like...... and in reality it can look like almost anything.

I'm on there.

It does frustrate me that most of the body shapes are wildly wrong since they're all self-reported. There seem to be about 70% hourglasses.
