He's ALMOST 80 YEARS OLD, give the guy a break! "Terrible" for 50 but pretty darn good for 77.

Robert Redford had cosmetic surgery years ago. That information was posted earlier in this thread. Now it is posted again. Does it make him any less of a fine, down-to-earth person? No.

Those were only rumours, I don't believe he has EVER had any plastic surgery. People speculate about dumb stuff like that on the 'net all the time.

So now, what we see here in this photo is his natural aging since that facelift.

I see nothing wrong with getting cosmetic surgery, just wanted to make this statement lest anyone assume that what we are seeing in this photo is his natural, untouched face.
I remember that the surgery was BAD plastic surgery. His hair, also, does not look natural.

I think Mr. Redford has aged very badly myself. Perhaps he should have left well enough alone.

We all age; but he was sooo attractive and the bad surgery and sun damage has really taken it's toll. I also wonder about his hair?

More people should accept aging gracefully and have his attitude!

LOL apparently, though, he hasn't evolved enough to accept having his women age gracefully. When he jettisoned his first wife and later married his girlfriend, he commented that she was European and younger, which he liked.

In other words, he can look his age (and grizzled) but his wife had better not.

So you know him personally? I never believe the crap I read about these celebrities. Whatever.

Name a female actress that looks better after facial cosmetic surgery. I can't. Younger? Maybe. Better? No.

He married his girlfriend in 2009, which would make him about 73 when he married her. I believe she's in her mid to late 50's now.
