Men over the age of 25 should not be wearing converse, vans, hi-tops or other kid type shoes. Grown ups wear grown up clothes. Wearing T-shirts with logos or graphics on them is for teenagers. Skinny jeans are effeminate and make one look like a homosexual. Baggy jeans are low class and ugly. Whatever happened to grown men who wear adult clothes?
The appropriate shoes for men aged 25 years and older would be monks, oxfords, derbies, and loafers. Grown men also wear button up shirts and polos. NOT short sleeve t-shirts with logos, wife beaters, sports jerseys and other low brow immature styles.

Damn right. Thanks for your service.
What types of sneakers do you have? I'm a sneakerhead and can't have enough pairs. And I'm 51. If it's a case of arrested development, I don't care. It harms nobody, and it isn't even an expensive habit.
This thread is awesome.......I wear converse and vans.....I own many a pair of reef flip flops......I will never wear cargo shorts(cmon guys cargo shorts are awful). I have button up shirts(flannel) and don't wear polo shirts. I own many levi's 511 and 513 jeans....I definitely wear hoodies...I ride a skateboard and surf.....I am 41 and own my own company.
I wear all these things to the office and so do my 11 employees. Life is to short to worry about labels and what others think.
Be yourself, be confident and comfortable and live life. BTW my tattoos all have a meaning and I will get inked till I die.

You are very close to retirement. You are not going to fit in too well with the old folks at the home. Hope it was all worth it.

Come one, this has to be a troll. Who in the world thinks it's their job to tell the rest of the world how to dress? So what if you "look like a homosexual"? Maybe you are. Where I live, a man wearing loafers or oxfords would be looked at funny. Button up shirts are uncomfortable, and polo shirts are for preppy types, so a lot of men don't care for them. I don't happen to like baggy jeans myself but it's none of my business if someone wants to wear them.
Part of growing up is learning that not everyone has to think, act, and dress like you do.

It was all worth it and then some. My wife and kids are very happy with the choices I have made. Oh I forgot to add that I wear tank tops in the summer, I love going sleeve less in the summer. I just love these holier than thou threads....judge away
