Excellent choices! You cannot go wrong with Chanel pour Monsieur ( original, not Eau Concentree ) but which Lalique cologne are you referring to: the Lion, Equus, The Fawn, Encre Noire, etc.? There are a lot of them and all are VERY good. I personally prefer Equus but it is increasingly becoming harder and harder to find a fresh bottle. The good news is a great clone of it is Gucci pour Homme II, something much easier to get. I like Encre Noire by Lalique but I only get compliments by 60-year-old woman when I wear it and that IS NOT the demographic I'm going for ( I'm 37. )
I have used Drakkar Noir for years, but I've been hearing that Creed Aventus gets compliments from many women. What is it about the smell? I've never tried it and noticed the price tag was $270 for 4oz bottle.
Personally, I like clean strong aromatic scents that could, almost, be women's perfume. I think you should try some of that spicy smelling men's perfume from the Middle East. Amazon.com: arabic perfumes If I get the smell of a feminine smelling perfume on me, I'm less likely to feel sick or be in a hurry to wash it off if it smells like something that belongs on me in the first place. I don't at all like smelly scents; some of that "men's cologne" is downright disgusting.
@mainebrokerman I just got a bottle of Brut Classic in the mail today, I'm wearing it right now LOL. Excellent stuff, the REAL kind, vintage, not the cheap drugstore knockoff. Right now my favorite to wear everyday is Lalique Encre Noire. There's just something really eerie about that one that makes me feel like I'm a classic movie villian straight out of a James Bond flick... WICKED to say the least!
