Gah, even back in the eighties no self respecting person over the age of ten would have been caught dead in an outfit like that!

I do not see a sweater and the girl with the cat shirt on is wearing a sweatshirt not a sweater.

At any rate the only thing I wear with animals on the front are the oversized tshirts I wear to sleep in that have wolves on them.

What do six hipsters in the park talk about?

How stupid the park is.

That sweater is obviously bad but that Fish shirt is awful too.

I think that's an 80's reenactment/ hipster thing.

BUT this is drag performer Courtney Act (with Bianca Del Rio) wearing a cat on a shirt. I think the cat thing is a little trendy now.

Strange how judgmental people are. If I saw the sweater on anyone, I would just figure they like cats and could care less. Goodness, some people have too much time on their hands.

I lived through the 80s and remember them well. I don't remember sweatshirts with large air-brushed cat faces being especially popular. Sweaters with large blocks of color and wild patterns, yeah, shoulder pads in everything, yeah, collars up on polo shirts, yeah, sweatshirts like in the photo, not so much.
