Just to show you CAN'T look matronly if you are young and pretty. The captioned claimed she looks "matronly"

Just any regular (preferably with a bit squared front) court pumps on 1-2" comfortable heel. With cropped pants slingbacks and peep-toes look good, too, if you have done/will do your pedi - it gives you more summertime-ish, less official looks. It would be good to balance your chocker with a bracelet of a similar design.

This is plain horrible. Awful lack of taste.

Thank you, BusyMeAK. The pants are actually not cropped. They're a regular size, and I'm a petite. So on me they are full length.

I like your suggestion of peep toe shoes.

Have you seen what she looks like in her real life? Quite different. However she does portray dumpy and matronly quite well on TBBT.

The top & pants are nice. I don't care for the shoes. They look like something that would be worn in a dance competition. I would like it better with higher heels or even a ballet flat although I know you said you were petite.

Lose the mary janes, go for a ballet flat or a bootie, I have a pair similar to this I wear https://www.ebay.com/p/Women-Soda-Sc...5-5/1241261697
As far as florals I definitely agree that it's a combination of factors that can make a look frumpy
Thishttps://static1.squarespace.com/stat...eg?format=300w
is a lot more frumpy than this even though the patterns are similar https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/i...DZJV_FT9IIxjB8
