I don't like the way they look and fail to see the purpose. Regular T-shirts absorb sweat from the underarms, these HAVE no underarms. I disagree that they are the same as tank tops, which usually have more coverage, although there is some overlap.
I feel the same way. To me they serve absolutely no purpose. Whereas a regular t-shirt does make sense.
I guess to absorb torso sweat or to make nipple protrusion less noticeable? And yes, men can get NP if it's cold.
