Darn. I look good in skinny jeans as long as it's a regular waist. I wear Macy's I.N.C. brand, not cheap but super-soft denim with some stretch and most importantly, they don't sag in the butt like some stretch jeans do. Speaking of butts, I REALLY hope hip-huggers aka low-rise don't come back. You've really gotta have a nicely curved butt to pull those off, no pun intended.

I think low rise really isn’t good for most people. If you have a long torso or are curvier on the bottom, you’re likely to get muffin top or camel toe.
Oh God somebody Shoot me I'm Now old enough that the clothes I wore in My 20's have Cycled back into fashion!!!!!
I don't ever see anyone in those types of jeans. The "mom" jeans are more like the trendy jeans of the mid 90s. Jeans you would have seen the characters wearing on Melrose Place, 90210, or Friends.

LOL I see those a bit also but I still see those as the uniforms of the snobby evil preppy types
But those super baggy jeans are making a comeback though they are just different enough that I can't go in my garage dig out my stuff from the 90's lol
Though 80% of my 90's wardrobe never went out of style the jncos did for sure.
But most grunge fashion never really went away it just got Co-opted by hipsters

Well, not surprising since fashion trends are cyclical. Skinny jeans/pants have been around for a long time. To be honest, I was surprised not see wide leg, flare, and bootcut more widely available last fall/winter because those styles were already in full swing. I think covid probably slowed down a lot of production after that so I guess the trend was a bit delayed in stores. But, yeah, I can see how the time has come to move on.
As far as skintight goes, that just means the pants/clothes don't fit. Even bodycon styles shouldn't cause skin to bulge out of clothing.
What I want to know is this - when will men's suits stop being made to look like last year's Easter suit on a preteen boy? BRING BACK CARY GRANT SUITS!!!!!!!!

I saved a pair of Twin Cannons and sewed them into a skirt, lol
