I have LaPerla lace bikinis & thongs for around $150 BUT they were gifts. I pay like $18 to $30 each at the most. Everyday panties is the same as special occasion IMO tho....unless it’s that time of the month. Then I wear Victoria’s Secret 5 for $30!
I looked on the LaPerla website and see thongs and bikini underwear for $285 a pair. What are they made from??? Yikes!

I do like wearing beautiful colors sometimes in a silky fabric, but even those cost something like $3 or $4 each (oh my gosh, I guess I am shopping in the wrong places! ).
I cannot for the life of me imagine spending $100 or more on a pair of PANTIES. That would be a vet visit or a few months of cat treats or a couple of fun night outs with a friend or my SO (if he can ever make his way back to New Hampshire) ... all of which I'd much rather spend the money on!

Thank you...but I love my husband, not love. Nobody needs LaPerla lingerie made of the best materials ofc....they were gifts. I would never pay that much either. edit: It makes a gift of luxury & pampering from my man tho...he can easily afford it.

I wear ordinary white briefs (a/k/a jockey shorts) available for about $2.00 each at my local big boxes; have for over 65 years, and will probably be buried wearing a pair. They also double nicely as sleepwear.
My Numero Uno choice in Undies typically runs $10.00 per pair at full price, or $25.50 for 3, though I always buy them on sale or clearance priced, whether at a brick-and-mortar store like Kohl's, or any of the online retailers.
