I thought I was the only one left that sported flannel! Hahahaha....
Here in Louisiana, well right now, we're experiencing some cold weather. In the southern part of the state. I'm bundled now, but usually I wear a long sleeve shirt with a flannel over shirt. Would like to get flannel sheets but wife says otherwise. She says it gets too hot. Well, uncover for a few minutes, get a chill then cover back!
In winter here, I wear a long sleeve T with a flannel hoodie thing over it. Super warm.
We have flannel sheets. I can't do winter w/out them. And a flannel comforter. TOASTY!

That's pretty much what I wear. Multiple color hoodies and one on evey floor of the house.
I wouldn't own anything that had to be dry cleaned. Everything gets thrown in the washer together at lukewarm temps. Comfort, and practicality are tops on my list. And I don't care what others may think about what I wear. Life is much too short for that. And I agree about layering.
Cooler temperatures don't work for me. My hands and feet still get too cold for comfort and I can't breathe cold air. So, I keep my thermostat up. However, in summer I really don't need A/C and could have low power bills, but my husband can't handle heat.
