What your size? I'm mostly a size 6, but I can do 4's also but 6 is safe from the regular winter weight gain / loss cycle.

Errr, are you serious???

I'm a 2/4 (LOL darn that winter weight gain Jesse's talking about! ) and can find clothes pretty easily.

The only time I have a problem is with some of the less-expensive lines (Target clothes for instance are just HUGE) and certain brands (Liz Claiborne springs to mind ).

If I want less-expensive brands I look to the shops that have Junior Sizing. Gap and Old Navy often have size "0" and XS or even XXS.

Other than that, higher end designer lines tend to be on the smallish side. If you are teeny-tiny look for petites. Vintage clothes may fit you as well if you are into that look.

For casual clothes (polo shirts, cargo shorts) you can shop in the boys dept. Super duper cheap too!

yes I'm serious... I've noticed most stores cater mostly to customers in the region, & most people here are tall & chunky...
I'm 5'5" & can rarely find anything that fits correctly

I just noticed your location. Welcome to the Midwest.

When I first moved I noticed that too. Remember the Beach Boys song? "...the Midwest farmer's daughters....." Very often tall and blonde and somewhat Viking-esque. Nothing wrong with that.

I'm not sure of your age...but if you don't mind dressing in "juniors" sizes find out where the HS girls shop. They tend to be somewhat tall and lanky.

Other than that? Trips to the big stores in Chicago? Trips back home? The internets? Last time I checked Barneys still shipped via FedEx.

Forever 21 has sizes for small framed women. They have a web site. The clearance prices are awesome!
They also have stores in bigger malls.

I'm a size 6 but can wear a 4 sometimes.
