I am a retired dairy farmer who moved from central MN to the Ozarks ( Cherokee Village) a year ago.
Although I can't give you info on NWA corridor, I will coment on the weather.

I think it is GREAT!

A couple weeks ago we had our coldest morning of the winter. My son called from the dairy farm and said----" hey,Dad, I checked and we have the same temp------------18.
Yup, the difference was we had a + and he had a -

Summers-----------last summer was quite hot ( according to locals ) yet I never missed a day of going for my 2.2 mile brisk walk at 1:00pm
Relatives from Minnesota have been down to visit during ALL seasons and comented on how nice the weather is here.
This morning we had a low of 28..........had .60 of rain early last night, and forecast is sunny and 50

I checked the weather back on dairy farm in MN right now----------it is -10 with a windchill of -27 and a high forecasted of 2

I believe the weather here is quite similar to NWA which is 200 miles west of me.

It is very similar, you are right and I admire you for walking at 1pm. We do try and walk during spring, summer and fall, but I have to admit, not at 1pm and not as far as you: good going, I wish we had that energy.
