my cichlid has been sick for weeks, hasnt eaten in about 3 weeks. i've done 2 rounds of 2 different medications and he is getting worse. has dropsy, breathing heavy, swollen fins and lungs, popeye. im afraid i can not do anymore for him and think i should put him out of his misery. any thoughts on what others would do or think i should do, please let me know. i'd hate to 'end things' if he'll get better, and i'd hate to have him suffer. thanks.

do you have a local petshop that specialized in fish? When our Oscar got ill, our local ps was more helpful then the vet because they had a guy that was obsessed w/all things fish.he actually got him through "hole in the head" Might call around....
good luck!
