If you like speed, you can try the Richard Petty Driving Experience at Disney. Bought my husband that for his birthday about 16yrs ago. He had a blast. All the guys looked like little kids on Christmas morning.

Things to do in Florida:

A day at the beach at Sebastian Inlet.

See a shuttle or rocket launch from as close as you can get.

A day at Ponce Inlet and time at the lighthouse museum. Hate the stairs but enjoy the view.

A day at the National Seashore either in Volusia or Brevard County.

Go deep sea fishing by renting a boat or taking a party boat out.

Take surfing lessons or at least rent a boogy board in Cocoa Beach

Go to a pro baseball game in Miami or Tampa. Or go to a game during spring training or a minor league game.

Go to a Magic game (buy tickets on line from the season pass holders who sell days they can't go-got really good seats for $68 for a game next week)

Go to a pro football game in Miami,Tampa, or Jacksonville.

For all pro games see if there is a bus from area you are in that takes you down -here the rec center offers roa d trips sometimes and the price is reasonable.

Go to some of our festivals around the state like Grant Sea Food Festival, Art Festivals in Melbourne or in various cities around the state, Strawberry Festivals, Sweet corn Festivals, state and county fairs, Christmas parades, etc.

Watch for places the Florida Highwaymen are being featured with their art and check it out. They are some interesting men and women to get to know and we love seeing their old and current paintings.

Meant to add ....Nascar Race in Homested. We have not been back to Daytona races since we started going to Homestead. Just an easier all around experience.
