My family and I are looking to move in the next year and Florida is on our list of places we would like to relocate to. What would you suggest as a great small coastal town to move to with good schools (Middle school and high school)? I would prefer warm year-round and not to use the heater at all, if possible. We need to be a short commute from medical facilities for work. I prefer somewhere where we can bike or walk to where we need. Small communities with 5,000 or less people would be ideal. Any suggestions?

St. Augustine is a beautiful coastal town, but the population is much higher than 5,000 and we get a lot of tourists here so it feels bigger.

'Your demographics are crazy.

Even little communities of five to ten thousand are surrounded by hundreds or thousands to millions of people.

Not sure I know of something with only 5k people that is still pedestrian friendly.

What about Dunedin, Osprey, or Naples?

Small town paradise located in the farthest northeast corner of Florida, .......like Cape Cod before it was discovered by the tourists.
