Yes, I had something similar cold and blurry to report--I slipped on a patch of ice for the first time since leaving Colorado.

Gosh that's just crazy. I can't imagine being so used to really warm weather then BAM! get hit with freezing temps...I'm from WI and get that weather everyday in the winter, however I don't think you can really "get used" to those temps...you just learn to tolerate it. I'm moving to FL in 25 days and I am anxious to get away from this cold weather so this better be a one time thing! haha (oh, and I know what ya mean by slipping on ice...I have a very steep driveway 'cause I live on a hill and I slipped and fell all the way down my driveway...landed on the same hip I recently had a contusion on)

When I left work on Longboat yesterday, I put ice and water in my styrofoam cup and forgot it in my car when I went in last night...

This morning, when I looked in my cup, there was still ice in the cup!

For the first time ever, I was driving home, and unknown to me, my car has a warning light when outside temperatures drop below 37 degrees! I never knew cars had a "ICY" conditions warning indicator.

I am in Michigan and I still think it would be nice to be where it's warm enough to be outside for extended periods of time, I guess the freeze makes one applicate the nice days more.

LOL - you must have a nice car, Greg. I almost have to cover my Honda with a blanket every night

You could say the same about 90 degree plus temps for months on end too. I can tolerate the heat a bit more then the cold however.
