I think you are confusing me with another poster. I did not complain about needing your money. I have stated my reasons for moving down there...not once did I mention that FL is soooo much better than CT, only that I was tired of the winter and have family down there. Stop being so bitter.

As a non-American it took me a while to understand that many Americans don't realise how much of the rest of the world loathes them because they're too busy loathing each other.
Live and let live, people. This country is plenty big enough for everyone.

sounds like a lot of Floridians like to blame their problems on everyone else. Pretty typical of today.

My "end game" is to die happy. I am coming down to fulfill that. Warmth in the winter, a/c living in the summer, sunshine most of the time, heaven. I worked 40 years, more, if you count under-the -table stuff when I was 10,12 yrs old.

I have the right to relocate anywhere I want and spend my pension. (Late hubby's too) I have the right to move near friends who have been living in Florida for 35 years. I have the right to be good and kind to myself in my older age. I was not blessed being born down south.

I am not a carpetbagger. I am one old lady looking to live out my life in a nice warm state.

What, are you writing a book? Leave that part out and make it a mystery...seriously, I will move where I want, when I want and do whatever I want, and don't have to explain anything to you or anyone.

Clear 'nuff?

Dont all the idiots from the south derive benefits from this? Maybe you should contact The Florida Department of Environmental Protection to air your dislike.

Consider it an upgrade. Now you have drylands.
