I considered reporting it for being a gross lie, but whatever. Have your fun.

I notice much of Florida does not, but some areas most definitely do. The area I live in Central Florida in Lakeland/Polk County. That particular region for some reason, has a very strong southern vibe/culture to it. I don't know the reason it does, since it is right between Orlando and Tampa. Mobs of people from all over, yet the strong southern culture is very apparent.

You sure you aren't mistaking southern and redneck? Those two things are not the same. Many many northerners are redneck. Lakeland has always come off as redneckish but not southern to me. I have family that lives there with roots in Massachusetts and Pensacola.

Wow, three people (myself included) on this thread have three totally different views on Lakeland. It must really really depend where you live. I still maintain it is NOT southern, certainly not where I lived or anywhere I went in that town. But the poor areas can come off redneck, but it's like that in many states not just here.

Exactly.
Heck, the part of Canada I lived in as a kid was very redneckish. There is a difference.

Your 'proof' was a combination of flawed data and pure bias, but then I knew it would be.

Your little foray into the Atlanta forum didn't work out so well, did it?

That proof actually showed migration data to every state in the US for the past century. You just don't like what it shows, that in every single decade migration from other states in the South are the biggest fuels to Atlanta's growth.
