And yet you conveniently ignored my response regarding that data.

Of course, from what I have now read in both forums from you... it's possible you didn't comprehend it.

I addressed you multiple times. You didn't refute the data, and it showed that most of Georgia's transplants are Southern and most of Floridas are from the North and Latin America.

And I addressed those as well....

You actually failed to address most of my post. Your data is mismatched with your argument.

As for which Floridians would identify themselves as Southerners? Again you probably wont find many who will in the South Florida region as it has a mixture of people whose family originated from the North and people of Latin American and other Caribbean backgrounds. With that being said, I will say that a majority of Black Americans will identify themselves as southerners. regardless of where they are in the state overall.
Pretty much. My family and friends in Dade and Broward Counties look at themselves as Southerners.

I doubt Carribean african Americans anywhere in the state identify as Southern. There was a waitress in Orlando who was from the islands and when my friend (an older gentleman from North Carolina) asked if she was Southern she said no.

That's a rather odd and random thing to ask somebody....

Oh this guy never stopped talking about Southern this or Southern that. He was raised in one of those pentacostal churches and even though he is retired (and out of the closet) he loves talking about his Southern background. Probably because he now lives in Orlando and Southerners are a rarity there these days.

Stop doubting it. My cousin is married to a Haitian and his friends and family look at themselves as Haitians first but Southerners second. They don't do many things different than what Southern blacks do.

This. The less people that live there, the more "southern" it is.
